A precious gift of nature, long appreciated in traditional herbal practices for its wide range of beneficial properties. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Treat yourselves with fenugreek! If people knew its value, they would pay its weight in gold.” (Al-Bukhari).
In traditional Tibb an-Nabawi heritage, fenugreek was valued as a versatile plant:
– Traditionally used to support recovery and vitality after childbirth (often mixed with honey and dates).
– Steam infusions were used to help cleanse the airways.
– Infusions were taken in the morning to support heart and overall well-being.
– Known as a natural ingredient that may support energy and vitality.

Trigonella Foenum-Graecum Seed
Infusion:
Pour 200–250 ml of hot water over 1 teaspoon of seeds. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes, strain, and enjoy like tea. Honey or milk may be added to taste. For a richer aroma, lightly roast and grind the seeds before brewing.
“Yellow Egyptian Tea” (Traditional Recipe):
Soak 2 tbsp of seeds in 500 ml of cold water for 2–3 hours, then bring to a boil and simmer for 7 minutes. Strain and drink 50 ml up to three times a day. Can be enjoyed with honey, milk, ginger, or lemon.
Hair Care:
– Rinse: Steep 100 g of seeds in 1 L of boiling water overnight. Use the strained infusion on scalp roots, leave for 15–20 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
– Mask: Mix 2 tbsp of ground seeds with 2 tbsp of coconut oil into a paste. Apply to the scalp one hour before washing.
Face Masks:
– For oily or combination skin: Mix 1–2 tsp of ground seeds with water to form a paste. Apply for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
– For dry skin: Mix 1 tbsp ground seeds with 1 tbsp yogurt and 1–2 tsp plant oil (olive or almond). Apply for 12–15 minutes and rinse.
– Nourishing mask: Mix 1 tbsp ground seeds with 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp milk. Apply for 10–15 minutes, then rinse.
– Radiance mask: Combine 2–3 tbsp ground seeds with 2–3 tbsp milk, apply for 15 minutes, then rinse.
